Fishing

There are plenty of opportunities for sea, lake and river fishing in Cornwall, and the mild Cornish winters mean that you can enjoy fishing all year round.

In addition to the many attractions at Sandymouth we can offer the added facility of coarse fishing. Situated just opposite the Park are three fully stocked ponds with an abundance of Mirror Carp, Common Carp, Golden Tench, Golden Rudd and much more....The pond has been developed over the past few years, creating both small and large sections. The fish in the larger section have been able to thrive as a result of the surrounding environment; the largest fish to date weighed in at approximately 8 pounds! The pond itself is in a quiet area with fantastic views, not only of the superb coastline but also of the tranquil farmland and countryside.

There is no extra charge for this facility; however you will need to bring your own equipment.

Of all the ways to experience the beautiful places of Cornwall, seeing it on horseback must be one of the most relaxing.

The Ocean Bar and Waves Cafe are situated by the entrance to the park, and all residents have free access. Children are only permitted in the Ocean Bar when accompanied by their parents and must be kept under strict control at all times. No persons under 18 years will be allowed in the Ocean Bar unaccompanied by adults during licensing hours.
