Flexbury to Stamford Hill
From Flexbury, through Hollabury, past the Round House, then up the footpath to Stamford Hill and return either through Poughill or Stratton - or - instead of going through Stamford Hill, go straight on at the end of the lane, turn right, and pass through a gate to Burn farm, and follow the lane back to the golf links (2 or 3 miles).

Upton or Widemouth
Across the cliffs from the breakwater to Upton or Widemouth. From Upton, back from the main road through Lynstone, or by the lanes of Rodd's Bridge and back to Bude along the canal tow-path. A longer walk, across the canal to Rodd's Bridge to Thorne and then back on to Stratton and back to Bude across pathfields (2, 3 or 5 miles).

Launcells Church
Across the Pathfields from the golf course at Bude - to Stratton, and on to Stratton Church, then to Launcells Church. From the Church to Bude via Stratton by road (6 miles).

From Crooklets Beach to Northcott Mouth, Sandymouth or Coombe Valley
From Crooklets Beach at Bude, when the tide is low, walk along the beach to Northcott Mouth, Sandymouth or Coombe Valley, and from any of these points turn inland and return to Bude via Poughill, along the lanes or over the cliff top. Care must be taken that the walker is not cut off by the tide whilst walking any distance along the beaches (3, 7 or 9 miles).

From Widemouth to Millook
From Widemouth (see walk 2), continue along the cliffs to Wanson Mouth and then to Millook. A walk up the valley brings one to Poundstock Church, and from here on to the main A39 road (10 miles).

From Coombe Valley to Morwenstow
From Coombe Valley (see walk 4)- a stiff climb, and a few miles further on is Morwenstow. Return can be made through Kilkhampton along the main road (A39) to Bush and Stratton, or come down lvyleaf Hill (15 miles).

Marsland Mouth to Bude
The Cornwall Coastal Path - Marsland Mouth to Bude. Fairly difficult with many steep gradients and wonderful views (9miles).

Bude to Crackington Haven
The Cornwall Coastal Path - Bude to Crackington Haven. Pleasant and easy as far as Millook, then steep valleys and watercourses, but with fine scenery.
